About
Rod is an Architect with over 20 years of international experience having worked for small and large projects in several continents. Rod is very passionate about the design process, where he strongly believes that a successful design emerges from the collaboration of the design team with the community in which the project lives. As a Designer, Rod sees himself as a facilitator and a witness of the design process where he believes every project is a unique opportunity for the discovery of design. Rod has worked in several project types ranging from developer-based projects like mixed-use, retail, hospitality, residential, corporate, and medical projects, to institutional projects such as K-12 education, higher education, public safety, municipal, and recreational projects. Rod is an AIA board member and a recurring volunteer to academic design reviews for architectural students.
Rod loves nature, traveling, and exploring the world whether natural or urban, and much like the design process, Rod’s always looking for new discoveries and inspiration.
