Mr. Valentine is a principal of the firm, in charge of Business Development, and on the Board of Directors.  He has very diverse architectural experience as well as a background in the construction industry, and firmly believes that even the smallest project can have a value-added benefit from thoughtful design. He embraces architecture as a profession of creative problem-solving, finding an appropriate balance between context-driven design, function and resource stewardship. His work spans the public and private sector from custom residential, multi-family and low-income housing, professional office, retail spaces, and renovations, to public safety and civic contracts. In the role of business development manager, he provides oversight in marketing and client development. His responsibilities include marketing and pre-design services, programming and design, structural and systems integration, document production oversight, and construction administration. When not in the office, he can generally be found enjoying the region’s rich outdoor recreational opportunities.
