Arc of Spokane Video

The Arc of Spokane project involves the interior remodel/renovation of an existing 21,631 sf office and maintenance building. Formerly the headquarters for the Inland Power and Lights utility company, the building was designed to provide office space and service vehicle bays. The renovation project improves circulation within the building through the addition of an elevator and accessible ramps, updated finishes, modernized bathrooms, and completely replaced building electrical and mechanical systems. A fire suppression system was also added throughout.

The former service vehicle bays are being converted into a Community Center, with a large gathering room, classrooms, public toilets, and a snack/concession area, all meeting current ADA requirements to meet the needs of the developmentally disabled clients they assist.

Sustainable concepts were considered and multiple cost estimates for various options were created, including a LEED cost analysis. We provided assistance for the BCF Grant procurement.
